About Fujifilm Press 800
Fujicolor Press 800 was the 800 ISO option in Fujifilm's Press line of emulsions, along with Press 400 and Press 1600. These particular films were aimed at photojournalists who need consistent, high quality results in a wide variety of conditions. The emulsion itself was simply Fuji's Superia emulsion, but it was the first to make use of Fuji's 4th Color Layer technology, which produced a consistent white balance even under florescent lighting. The Press line of films also incorporated Fine Sigma technology for exceptionally fine grain, even in the higher ISO variations. The Press line of films were discontinued in 2010.
